We teach all types of Cabo fishing techniques. Want to learn how to cast live bait to billfish? No problem. Want to learn how to fish kites for big yellowfin tuna? Sure thing. Interested in learning how to jig structure for snapper and yellowtail? We've got you covered. Heck, we can even teach you how to cast flies to teased-up marlin. We'll be happy to instruct you in a wide variety of proven fish-catching methods here in Cabo San Lucas.
If you're like most saltwater anglers, you've always dreamt of landing a marlin, sailfish or swordfish. We don't blame you... it's GREAT fun! Come get your first or add more to your catch count - heck, why not go for a Grand Slam!
Many of our clients like to target fish that also make great table fare... like the mighty yellowfin tuna or the aerobatic dorado (aka mahi-mahi or dolphinfish). That works for us! When conditions are right, we'll even send up the kites!
Lots of folks think Cabo is marlin central... and it is. It's also one of the greatest places on earth to fish inshore structure and the surfline for rooseterfish, sierra mackerel, pargo, grouper and other reef hugging species. Tuna & dorado, too, at times!
Not everyone wants to go fishing, but just about everyone wants to get a view of Los Cabos from the water. That's why we also offer pleasure cruises for sunset cocktails, sightseeing and even snorkeling. Private boat cruises for groups of up to 8 people are available with advance booking and include a visit to Los Arcos and points along the coast on both the Sea of Cortez and Pacific ocean – scenery that has made Cabo San Lucas world famous for its rugged beauty. Whale watching tours are available in season, too! Boat tours are a minimum two hours but you can extend your trip as long as you like. Let us help you sightsee on the water.... perhaps we should really call these sightSEAing trips!
Wondering where your boat is? Fortunately, we're in one of the best locations on the marina with convenient parking lots nearby and just a few minutes walk from the best that downtown Cabo has to offer. As you can see from the aerial image, we're right on the main walkway next door to Lorenzillo's restaurant alongside restaurant row and the IGY Marina offices. You can't miss us. Taxi or Uber? Tell them to take you to Lorenzillo's.
Cabo is one of the world's greatest sport fishing destinations. Known as the "Marlin Capital of the World" the waters off Los Cabos sport dozens of fishing hot spots like the Golden Gate and Gordo Banks. A variety of game fish provide anglers with year-round action on pelagic species like marlin, sailfish, swordfish, dorado, tuna and wahoo plus inshore species including snapper, grouper, sierra mackerel, blue trevally and more.
What do you do with a life-long love of sport fishing and spending time on the water? You learn to build boats!
